We aim to collect only information reasonably needed to provide BuyerSignal, fulfill purchases, respond to support requests, improve reliability and meet legal obligations. JVZoo and the payment processor handle payment details under their own notices.
1. Scope and acceptance
This Privacy Policy describes how BuyerSignal (“we,” “us” or “our”) handles information collected through the BuyerSignal website, desktop software, product registration, support email and related services.
By using BuyerSignal, you acknowledge this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Service. Where a specific product feature or third-party service has a separate privacy notice, that notice also applies to the relevant processing.
2. Information we may collect
Information you provide
- Account and registration details: name, email address, login or registration details, package entitlement and account preferences.
- Project and source information: product descriptions, websites, target-customer information, competitor names, selected Facebook Groups, Subreddits, X Communities, scan settings and other configuration you choose to submit.
- Lead workspace content: post references, AI scores, explanations, notes, tags, workflow status and draft replies created or saved in the Service.
- Support communications: your email address, order details, screenshots, device information and the contents of messages you send us.
Information received from purchases
For purchases made through JVZoo, we may receive order-related information such as your name, email address, product or subscription purchased, order ID, purchase date, entitlement status, refund status and limited transaction metadata. JVZoo and the applicable payment processor handle card, bank and payment credentials. We do not ask you to send full card numbers or payment passwords by email.
Technical and usage information
When the website or software is used, we may receive limited technical information such as IP address, browser or operating-system type, device identifiers, application version, error logs, timestamps, pages viewed and feature usage. We use this information to secure, troubleshoot and improve the Service.
Third-party platform content
BuyerSignal may process content from sources that you select or configure, such as posts and public-facing community information. We do not intentionally request your Facebook, Reddit or X password. You remain responsible for having the right to access and process any source and for complying with the source platform’s rules.
3. How we use information
We may use information to:
- create and secure accounts, provide product features and deliver purchased entitlements;
- scan, organize and analyze user-selected sources and generate AI-assisted lead insights or draft replies;
- send product notices, security alerts, support replies and service-related messages;
- verify orders, prevent abuse, manage credits, process refunds and resolve disputes;
- diagnose errors, measure reliability, improve features and develop safer workflows;
- comply with applicable law, lawful requests and our contractual obligations; and
- protect BuyerSignal, users, third parties and the public from fraud, misuse or security threats.
We do not sell your personal information as a standalone data product. We do not use your private project content to contact your leads or to operate an unrelated lead-generation business.
6. Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No website, software or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain account and purchase records, support legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and protect security. Retention periods vary by data type and may be longer where required by law.
If a security incident creates a legal notification obligation, we will provide notice in the manner and timeframe required by applicable law.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. These rights are subject to legal exceptions and reasonable identity verification.
To make a request, email support@anthonyos.com with the email address used for BuyerSignal and a description of your request. We may need to confirm that you control the relevant account. You may also opt out of non-essential communications by using an unsubscribe link where provided or contacting support.
Children
BuyerSignal is intended for adults and business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
8. Third-party services and links
BuyerSignal may link to or interoperate with JVZoo, Facebook, Reddit, X, Telegram, email providers and other third-party services. Their privacy practices, terms and security are controlled by those providers, not by BuyerSignal. Review their notices before using those services or submitting information through them.
For payment-specific records, including card data, subscription billing and payment processor cookies, the JVZoo and applicable payment processor privacy notices apply in addition to this policy.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Service, law or our data practices change. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Your continued use after an update means the revised policy applies to future use, subject to rights that cannot be waived.
10. Contact us
Privacy questions, requests and concerns can be sent to support@anthonyos.com. We aim to respond within 24 hours and will route payment-specific requests to JVZoo when appropriate.
